The Tuition Contest is a crowd-funded tuition opportunity for high school seniors, college students (community college, undergraduate, post-graduate), and those accepted to or enrolled in technical schools to receive whatever amount is raised via our GoFundMe and Patreon pages for their educational pursuits.
There is no application fee to participate in The Tuition Contest. However, all contestants are asked to raise a minimum of $100 in donations. This is NOT a requirement. It only takes ten friends and family members giving $10 each to fulfill this request. We cannot fund scholarships without the help of our contestant community, so thank you in advance for your help!
Send your supporters to our GoFundMe page and make sure they type your name in the "Leave a Comment" section on the donation page so you will receive credit for your fundraising.
As of February 2019, Forbes reported that total US student debt was over $1.56 trillion and that 44.7 million people owed debt. The average student debt is approximately $39,000, while the median student debt is between $10,000 and $25,000 with 2% of borrowers owing $100,000 or more.
We want to make a difference in the lives of students who are worried about paying for their educational programs. The student debt crisis is out of control and the best way to fight it is to stop it from happening in the future.
